Today in Ducklings we explored, in detail, the outside area. The children noticed how many leaves there were on the floor. One child said, "there's hundreds and thousands!" We looked at the different shades, "red, yellow, orange, brown, auburn, green, purple, sun-coloured" were just some of the colours the children named.
Afterwards, we had a leaf fight, with the children piling the leaves together and throwing them up as far as they could! Even Mrs Wilde joined in!
Other children enjoyed taking part in train role-play. They pretended to be going on a journey with lots of passengers and made very loud train noises!
